Wesley and David went on their first Father - Son camp out Friday night. Can you see how thrilled Wesley was at the beginning?
Still not looking too excited...
Mom made sure to pack some late night snacks.
Mom forgot to pack a football, so someone let Wes play with this one so he would stop screaming every time he saw someone playing with a football.
How cute is this little boy?! Not even two and a half yet, and he looks like such a big boy.
Playing with flashlights - one of the coolest things about camping. BTW - take note of his filthy dirty feet. Only on a boys weekend camping trip can you go to bed with dirty feet. Let's just say that he had a shower right when he got home.
Time for bed. Wesley was so excited to be in his sleeping bag in a tent.
This is my favorite picture. David said that he loved to pick up rocks and wave sticks around. All boy! They had a great time and can't wait to go again next year!

I just love that David took him!! And then took pictures for you! What a good dad!! xoxo.
Bravo Dave for taking your boy out and showing him the ways of the campground. Looks like, despite Wes's initial frowny face, that ya'll had a great time. So cute!

How fun! I hate camping...sorry I do...give me nature (which I love) but then give me a bed in my house to sleep in:) But with 2 boys that love it I am destined to have to go at some point:( So far Steve has taken P on all their camp out's alone:)
I keep laughing and telling Dan he should take Jackson camping...and for some reason he never hears me when I make the suggestion. Hmmmm... Interesting.
Love, love, LOVE that first pic! That is one for the books. :)
