Fun in the Sun

So it's been a while since my last post. All I can say is colic is not cool!

On to better things. Emilee and Wes have been exploring all the summer water activities. One must always start with the proper equipment when going out in the sun.

Emilee's first summertime foray was to the splash park with Dave. She loved it, but she is still not walking on her own and the bottom of the park is concrete, so she came home with little cuts all over the side of her chubby little feet. Not cool! When our friends from Fort Worth came to visit I decided to do our own splash park in the backyard.

Em loved to splash in the sprinklers - and she was cut free! We've had enough infectious disease in this house - no staph here!!

Em loved to splash so much that we made plans to go visit Aunt Laurie at her pool. Emilee just wanted to make sure that her shades would fit before we left.


Wesley is apparently not as excited as his sister about the pool. Or it could be his colic - hard to tell...




...maybe it's the hat - don't think he likes it.




The little fishy! Girl has so much junk in the trunk that her booty kept on floating!


Then she found out she could walk around the edge of the hot tub.


She kept her cousin Jen in there playing with her for almost 25 minutes going around and around.

Yea for Summer!!
