Finally getting around to blogging about our trip to the State Fair. Our first stop was to visit all the animals in the barnyards.
This is Boris the Pig. Probably one of the grossest animals I have ever seen in my life. I don't even know how he can get up and walk with all that junk in the trunk. He was ginormous!
Em loved to point out all the cows to Wesley. MOO!!
Next stop was the petting zoo. Em loved the baby camel, the kangaroo, the goats, and feeding all the animals. Wesley wanted to eat the animal food and pretty much screamed in protest the entire time the goats were being fed, and he wasn't. Little stinker!
Wesley needed a snack after all the screaming in the petting zoo, so Em and I made the rounds on the "farm."
We had to stop and pet the sheep before we could continue with our chores. She had a great time at the farm, and was able to buy a healthy snack of trail mix at the end of her labors.
Emilee's first taste of a Fletcher's Corny Dog. YUM!! A trip to the Fair isn't worth anything if you don't get a Fletcher's Corn Dog and a pineapple soft serve ice cream. Now I'm hungry - really hungry.
As we neared the end of our day at the Fair, Em turned into our little helper and assisted Dad with pushing the stroller. We can't wait until next year. Man I really want a corn dog right now!!

I can't believe how old Em is getting! And that pony tail makes her look even older! These babies grow up much too quickly I tell you. So glad you had fun at the fair. We're pathetic. Been here 6 years ... never been to the fair! I need to change that!!
that looks like so much fun!! we need to do that next year, this year i feel too much like boris...until the baby comes. :D
